Prof Dr N N Murthy, Highly learned Environmentalist, Scholar, Poet speaks on Energy - Alternative Sources for India's needs at WISE Summer School Energy & Climate at Zeeland, Holland (The Netherlands) on 4 August 2009. He was invited as visiting professor for this Summer School. He delivered a wonderful lecture on the subject. He gave energy sources available in India presently and future requirement with growing population of the country. He also explained how energy consumption reflects economic progress of a country. How India has to manage it energy sources for the future generation and what are the alternative energy sources are avalaible.

He is also spoke on Paryavaran Kavitodyamam going on in Andhra Pradesh, India in another lecture.

He is Founder Secretary of Jagruthi Kiran Foundation and Director of Jagruthi Kiran Consultants. Gifted speaker delivered lectures, talks on varied subjects in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Dubai, Sharjah, Iran, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Nederland’s. He is adviser in many countries to Governments, companies and Visiting Professor in several universities across globe. UNESCO designated him as Messenger for Culture of Peace in 2003 recognising his work.

He is highly qualified with 29 degrees from 21 universities (Limca Record 2008). He has received Outstanding Young Person of the City by Jaycee International, Special Appreciation from Nelson Mandela for Poetry, International Peace Prize from USA, Cavalier from Belgium King, Albert Schweitzer Medal (Spain), Kentucky Colonel by Governor of Kentucky State, USA and many honors world over. ప్రపంచ పర్యావరణ దినోత్సవం

ప్రపంచ పర్యావరణ దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా 'మన' ఉనికిని కాపాడుకోవటానికి కొన్ని టిప్స్:

ప్లాస్టిక్ బ్యాగుల వినియోగం వీలైనంతవరకు తగ్గించాలి.
షాపింగ్ కి వెళ్ళేప్పుడు క్లాత్ బ్యాగ్ ని తీసుకువెళ్ళాలి.


మొక్కలు నాటాలి.
మొక్కలకి నీరు ఉదయం కాని, సాయంత్రం చల్లబడ్డాక కానీ పోయాలి... అప్పుడైతే ఎక్కువ శాతం నీరు ఆవిరి కాకుండా మొక్కలకి అందుతుంది.


నీరు ఆదా చేయాలి.
అనవసరంగా నీరు వృధా చేయకూడదు.
ఇంట్లో టాప్స్ లీకేజ్ లేకుండా ఎప్పటికప్పుడు సరి చూసుకుంటూ ఉండాలి.
నిలువ ఉన్న నీరు వృధాగా పారబోసే బదులు... మొక్కలకి పోయాలి.


పెట్రోల్ వినియోగం తగ్గించాలి. కాలుష్యాన్ని నియంత్రించాలి.
బండిలో పెట్రోల్ ఉదయం పూట పోయించుకోవటం మంచిది. దానిద్వారా మైలేజ్ పెరుగుతుంది.


పవర్ / కరెంటు ఆదా చేయాలి. గ్లోబల్ వార్మింగ్ ని నియంత్రించాలి.



ఇవన్నీ 'మనం' చేయగలిగినవే. ఈ చిన్న చిన్న టిప్స్ పాటించటం ద్వారా ఎంతో తేడా వస్తుంది.
ఇది 'మన' కోసం 'మనం' చేస్తున్నది... చేయవలసింది.

సాహిత్యం ద్వారా పర్యావరణ చైతన్యం ప్రజల్లో వ్యాప్తి చేయడమే ' పర్యావరణ కవితోద్యమం ' ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం.

' పర్యావరణ  కవితోద్యమం ' ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ లో 2008 నుండి నడుపుచున్న ఒక ఉద్యమం. సాహిత్యం ద్వారా  పర్యావరణ చైతన్యం ప్రజల్లో వ్యాప్తి చేయడమే ' పర్యావరణ  కవితోద్యమం ' ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం. జాగృతి కిరణ్ ఫౌండేషన్  ప్రొఫెసర్ డా. ఎన్.ఎన్. మూర్తి గారి నాయకత్వంలోని  జాగృతి  కిరణ్  ఫౌండేషన్ 

ఈ ' పర్యావరణ  కవితోద్యమం ' ప్రారంభించింది.

 

పర్యావరణ కవితోద్యమము

పర్యావరణ కవితోద్యమం తెలుగు నాట ప్రారంభమైన ఓ ఉద్యమం. ఇది 2008 లో ప్రారంభమైనది. తెలుగు సాహిత్యంలో ఇది ఓ గొప్ప మలుపు. తెలుగు సాహిత్యంలో పర్యావరణ స్పృహ తేవాలనే తపనతో ఈ ఉద్యమం ప్రారంభమైనది. అది 2008, తెలుగు కవి లోకం దళితవాదం, స్త్రీవాదం గురించి చర్ఛిస్తున్న రోజుల్లో ఈ ఉద్యమం కవులను తన వైపు ఆకర్షించింది. ఒక్కసారి అందరినీ ఆలోచింపచేసింది. ఇప్పటికి దీని ప్రభావం తెలుగు కవిత్వం మీద ఎంతోఉంది. అనేకమంది కవులు దీనికి ప్రభావితులు అయ్యారు.

హరిత కవిత అనేది పర్యావరణ కవితోద్యమం లో ఒక కార్యక్రమము. ఇది అంతర్జాతీయ తెలుగు కవితల పోటీ. జాగృతి  కిరణ్  ఫౌండేషన్ ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని 'మల్లె తీగ'  అనే పత్రికతో కలసి ప్రారంభించింది. .2008లో ప్రారంభమైన ఈ ఉద్యమానికి శ్రీకారం హరిత కవితతోనే జరిగింది. సృజనాత్మక ప్రక్రియలద్వారా, రచనలద్వారా పర్యావరణం మీద అవగాహన కల్పించాలనదే ఈ ఉద్యమం యొక్క ముఖ్యలక్ష్యం.

హరిత కత

హరిత కత 2009 లో ప్రారంభింపబడినది. ఇది తెలుగు కధానికల పోటి. జాగృతీకిరణ్ ఫౌండేషన్ ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని   కధాకేళి  అనే పత్రికతో కలసి ప్రారంభించింది.
